The National Institute of Education (NIE) Teacher’s Investiture Ceremony was held on 14 July 2010 at NTU Nanyang Auditorium. This year, the award winner of LCCI Prize was Ms Cindy Lim Sin Yee from Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Ms Lim was receiving the cash award from Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State from Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Education. Each year, LCCI Prize is awarded for best performance teacher in the teaching of Accounting and/or teaching of elements of business skills. SINGAPORE - Enterprise Day at Outram Secondary School
To promote Business and Enterprise education in Singapore, Outram Secondary School has organised Enterprise Day 2010 on 25 May to instil a sense of good financial management in teachers and students and to expose them to the various aspects of financial management. This year, 120 students from total of 10 schools have participated in the event. They learn about businesses and management of personal finances through games and activities. CHINA – LCCIIQ Guangzhou Recruitment Fair
The Recruitment Fair for vocational students holding LCCIIQ English For Business (EFB) certificates was held. The Fair has attracted some multinational companies such as Grand Hyatt Hotel and Ritz Carlton Hotel.
MYANMAR – LCCIIQ Education visit in Myanmar
LCCIIQ had education visit to Yangon & Mandalay in Myanmar, where focus to introduce LCCI's English and Accounting Qualification to the Myanmarese.
SINGAPORE – LCCIIQ-MYOB Holiday Enrichment Programme
There are more than 350 secondary school students utilised their "time-off" during March 2010 school holiday attending the 20 hours LCCI-MYOB Computerised Accounting Enrichment courses. This programme enhances student ability in handling business scenario transactions such as create of company profile, set up of accounting code, capturing sales and purchases transaction, recording expenses and bank reconciliation as well as month/year end adjustments such as prepayment, accrual and depreciation. The programme also highlights the data transaction flow and its cor-relationship towards the formation of financial reports to meet the expectation by most SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) nowadays.
CHINA - LCCIIQ, Guangzhou Education Bureau & CIIC
LCCIIQhad signed "Cooperation Agreement" between LCCI, China International Intellectech Corporation (CIIC) and Guangzhou Education Bureau (GEB). CIIC will adopt LCCI assessment to develop and screen talents for contact center companies.

SRI LANKA – Train The Trainers LCCIIQ train the trainers for Travel & Tourism Workshop. Supported by Sri Lanka Ministry of Tourism, LCCI Sri Lanka office has successfully coordinated a train-the-trainer event on 25th and 26th February 2010 to 35 trainers from Kandy and Colombo. The training mainly focused on the pedagogy sharing on how to conduct an effective training on Travel and Tourism subject. Presented by Mr. Leslie Sim from AEC Principal-Hospitality and Tourism & Retail.
INDONESIA – LCCIIQ visit Jakarta Education Expo LCCIIQ have visited the Jakarta Education Exhibition where we think it was a good avenue for us to understand the major players and how LCCIIQ able to position within this competitive market segments. There is few training centres have already started up the LCCI International Qualifications programmes with current size of 1,500 students every year, mainly focus in marketing range of qualifications.
