Malaysia – Release of results for the Malaysia SPM Principles of Accounting International Benchmarking Project

Effective last year, students who took the Principles of Accounting subject and obtained good results would receive international recognition. LCCI International Qualifications (LCCIIQ) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Malaysia are delighted to announce that students who meet the requirements in SPM Principles of Accounting and the English 1119 can apply the LCCI Level 2 Certificate in Book-keeping and Accounts.

Almost 89% of the 778 students took part in the pilot project last year successfully obtained the LCCI certificationfor Level Two of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCIIQ).

Singapore - NIE Teachers’ Investiture Ceremony in Singapore

This year's Teachers' Investiture Ceremony will see a total of 1,672 newly-qualified teachers joining the teaching force. They will receive their National Institute of Education, Singapore (NIE) diplomas at the Nanyang Auditorium, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) on 8, 9 and 10 July 2008. Guest of honour for the event will be Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence.
