A prize presentation ceremony was held in Yangon, Myanmar to honour our LCCI Medallion winners from 2002 and 2003. Also present, were students who had recently completed their LCCI-MYOB Computerised Accounting course.

The Medallions were presented by Dr.Marcus Milton, the British Council director, accompanied by Jeffery Soong, LCCI Regional Manager. Commenting on the outstanding results achieved by Myanmar students, Dr.Milton said this appeared to be rooted in a culture which promoted self-discipline and serious mindedness, and was something candidates, their families and the country could be immensely proud of. He noted that the skills learned through LCCI will have great utility for the companies which employ the graduating candidates, and would give confidence in future to foreign investors.
