Modern businesses simply cannot function without effective and efficient Information Technology, and LCCI's range of IT qualifications ensure that candidates develop a through understanding of both the theory of IT and its practical application within the workplace. Our theory exams focus on hardware, software, networking and systems, while the business-focused practical papers cover word processing, databases, spreadsheets, graphics and using the internet.

Passes required in the following three Level 1 subjects within a 24 month period: Using the Internet, Practical Computing and Business Administration.

IT Qualifications

Practical Computing : Levels 1 -3

These qualifications are ideal for candidates who wish to acquire basic to advanced practical IT skills for modern business. At each level, candidates are required to demonstrate competence in a minimum of two applications from a choice of word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation graphics.

Using the Internet : Level 1

The aim of this qualification is to test the candidate's ability to demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of the internet and it's application to business. Candidates must be able to use email and browser software and carry out commercial transactions on the World Wide Web.
