MALAYSIA SPM Principles of Accounting Dual Certification

Pearson LCCI in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Malaysia is delighted to announce that from SPM 2021 onward, students who meet the requirements in SPM Principles of Accounting may apply for the Pearson LCCI Level 2 Certificate in Book-keeping & Accounts (assessed in Bahasa Melayu).

Students’ eligibility for the SPM dual certification is indicated on the SPM result slip. The eligibility status will be written in the form of LCCI grades at the bottom left corner of the SPM result slip. The LCCI grades will be stated as per example below:

3756 (LCCI) – Pass with Distinction or Pass with Merit or Pass

Should any of the LCCI grades are not printed on the result slip, it means that the student is not eligible to apply.

Online Application of SPM 2022 opening date : After Result Release

Online Application of SPM 2022 closing date : 31st Dec 2023

2022 Application processing Fee: RM 35.00 + RM 2.25 (E-Service Fee) = RM 37.25

Collection Of Certificate

1. SPM2022 Candidates applying for the certificate before 31st July 2023 can collect their certificates from their respective schools from June 2024 onward.

2. SPM2022 Candidates applying for the certificate from 1st August 2023 to 31st Dec 2023 can collect their certificates from their respective schools from July 2024 onward.

Late Application

For students who missed the dateline, you may still obtain the certificate at a special discounted rate from the original examination fees plus postage & handling. This fee is considerably lower than the stand alone Pearson LCCI exam fee for the Level 2 Book-keeping and Accounts exam.

Late Application Fee: RM 97.00 + RM 2.95 (E-Service Fee) + RM 12.50 (Handling & Postage) = RM 112.45

Important : Principles of Accounting Dual Certification Qualification Withdrawal by 31st December 2023. Eligible learners who are currently working towards achieving Pearson LCCI qualifications will be offered a final opportunity to submit a claim for dual certification, to be received by Pearson no later than this date.

Application Method:

From the year 2021 onward all SPM Dual Certification application will need to be via online application only.

Please be informed that all applications will need to be accompanied with scanned copies of the applicant’s SPM Result Slip and National Identification Card (I/C) which will need to be uploaded to the online application system.

Kindly ensure that scanned copies of applicant’s SPM Result Slip and National Identification Card (I/C) are available before starting the application process.
